Information we use

• Signup details: the email address you enter, signup time and source, confirmation and subscription status, and records needed to manage confirmation emails.
• Signup source: available campaign tags, referring website and landing path, so we can understand how people found the waitlist.
• Security information: our providers process request data such as IP address, browser and connection information. We use a hashed IP identifier to limit repeated signup attempts. Cloudflare Turnstile checks submissions for automated abuse.
• Messages: if you contact us, we receive your address and what you choose to send. Please avoid sending passwords or unnecessary sensitive information.

Why we use it

We use these details to send a confirmation email, manage the waitlist and your preferences, send requested beta and launch updates after confirmation, respond to you, understand signup sources, and protect the website and email system. Joining is free and does not create an editor account or authorize unrelated marketing. We send updates only while your address is confirmed and subscribed. We may also use limited information to comply with law or address security issues and legal claims.

Unsubscribe, resubscribe and deletion

Use the unsubscribe link in our email or contact us to stop waitlist updates. Unsubscribing does not automatically delete your signup record: we retain your preference so we do not send updates by mistake. You can deliberately join again and confirm a fresh email to resubscribe. A visit to the site or receipt of an email alone does not resubscribe you.

To request access, correction or deletion, email andrew@dranic.com. We will assess the request under applicable law and explain any information we still need to retain. Depending on where you live, you may have further privacy rights or a right to complain to a data-protection authority.

Service providers and international processing

Vercel hosts the waitlist; Supabase stores signup records; Resend sends confirmation and update emails; and Cloudflare Turnstile helps detect automated submissions. These services may process information outside your country. Cloudflare also handles some Turnstile data for its own service and security purposes. We may share limited information with advisers or authorities where necessary and lawful.

Analytics and browser storage

If optional website analytics are offered, we ask you to allow them before starting them on the waitlist. Your choice does not affect joining. We store that choice in your browser. Signup-source information and essential security and delivery processing are separate from this optional choice.

How long we keep information

We keep signup records while needed to manage the waitlist, confirmation, updates, preferences, security and applicable legal obligations. An unconfirmed address can remain recorded even if its confirmation email is not delivered. After an unsubscribe, we keep a record of that choice so we do not send updates accidentally. Provider logs and backups follow their own retention cycles. You may ask us to remove information no longer needed.

Security, age and changes

We use access controls and service protections appropriate to this waitlist, although no internet service can guarantee absolute security. The waitlist is intended for people aged 13 or older. If you believe a younger child submitted an address, contact us.

We may update this notice as the waitlist changes. We will update the date above and draw attention to material changes when appropriate. Contact andrew@dranic.comwith questions or privacy requests.
